Organization Set-Up
The Organization of CGRVVN consists of a group of competent and hardworking people in the cadres of Officers and Staff. The Nigam started its activities in the year 2001 with only 4 Divisional Offices. At present the Company has its Corporate Head Office at Raipur, Chhattisgarh headed by the Chairman. The Managing Director of the Nigam is in the rank of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests assisted by one Addl. Managing Director in rank of Addl. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests. The Nigam has two Regional Offices at Raipur and Bilaspur, headed by Regional General Managers in the rank of Conservator of Forests, drawn on deputation from Chhattisgarh State Forest Department. The Nigam has 8 Divisional Offices with Head Quarter at Raipur, Rajnandgaon, Bhanupratappur, Bilaspur, Kawardha, Korba, Ambikapur & Jagdalpur each headed by Divisional Managers.

Ancillary Projects
The Nigam is also carrying out plantations of Sisal (Agave sislana), Aonla and Jatropha (Jatropha carcus) for employment generation for forest dependent Scheduled Tribe families. Self Help Groups/Committees have been formed for making Sisal fiber/rope and lifestyle/ utility articles from Sisal plantations to generate additional income of Rs. 1200 - 1500 per month for at least 8 months in a year.
